NGBSA and Dixie Youth Baseball have adopted a coach certification program produced by the American Sports Education Program (ASEP). The online course will benefit coaches at all levels of experience.
All NGBSA Baseball Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches in Rookie, Tee Ball, Pee Wee and all head coaches new to NGBSA will be required to complete the course by March 3, 2008.
Although the course is mandatory for some NGBSA coaches, parents can also take the course, which includes lots of information and resources for anyone who wants to learn more about coaching youth baseball.
The Pee Wee developmental program has been tabled and will be reconsidered next year.
The Team Mom Meeting will be held Tuesday, February 19th, 6:30 PM at the Community Center in front of George Pierce Park. All Team Moms are required to attend. If you are a team mom and have not registered in our volunteer database please click on the Volunteer Registration Link on the Home Page to do so asap.

NGBSA is considering the creation of a developmental division of teams for rising 7 yr old baseball players in Pee Wee if there is enough interest. ONLY PLAYERS WHOSE BIRTHDATES ARE BETWEEN 5/1/2000 AND 4/30/2001 WOULD BE ELIGIBLE.

Some leagues may fill up quickly. If your player is put on a waitlist, you will be contacted within 48 hours and notified if a spot is available. REGISTRATION FOR ALL BASEBALL LEAGUES IS CLOSED EXCEPT FOR SENIOR. Registration for Softball is closed except for Peewee(8U), Minor(10U), and Major (12U).
