First Annual United States Travel Ball Association World Series Championships in Destin, Florida.
North Gwinnett was proud to sponsor The Championship team consisted of the following players: Wes Bucher, Brian Gropp, Alex Hartz, Kyler Knudsen, Caleb Mitchell, Devon Mitchell, David Paul, Robert Pucciarello, Blake Sangster, Parker Stevens, and Barrett Willis. The team was Managed by Kim Bucher and coached by John Hartz, Dee Mitchell, Nick Pucciarello and John Willis.
NGBSA is now accepting applications for Travel Coaches for Spring 2009. NGBSA will have Travel teams in ages 9u-14u. The application process will be through August 15th. All interested coaches should submit their application to either John Willis at jbwillis21@comcast.net or Mark Watkins at markwatkins@cobaltelectric.net

The Pee Wee Bulldog All Stars played two outstanding games in the Championship Series over the 4th of July weekend, but couldn't get past Mill Creek (S) for the State Title. Mill Creek (s) and the Bulldogs were the District 6, Sub District Tourney Champs and had not faced each in Tourney play. Distirct 6 teams have won every State Tournament Pee Wee Title. The Bulldogs jumped out to early leads in both games.
